The only other pads I'd consider besides the Zero are the various Hayates. The Hien is "built like a tank" and is very rough, which some people find very coarse on their forearms. Probably a unique experience but not recommended for someone who wants something that lasts and offers control. It literally wears down over time as glass fragments shed off of it. There's some threads that go through all the differences more in-depth but. At least as someone who played CSGO a lot though, I feel like if your crosshair placement is good, you should be minimizing your flicks. Others who may flick more may look into others. It's their slowest and most controlled pad. Either way, I still recommend the FX line.Īs an FPS player who wants all the advantages he can get, I've never considered anything seriously other than the Zero. They'll later come out with a line that is their budget line but which is apparently modular, as in you can swap the different layers. The FX line is their new and updated line, get these. I think soft is a safe bet, xsoft if you want the "full experience" and are willing to take the risk. Sounds like an issue that wouldn't come up for most people.
I almost wish I got xsoft to go "full Artisan" because I figure it'd be the most unique experience (like getting blue switches on your first mech keyboard) but I heard rumors that people who were pressing down really hard on their mice had weird sensor issues because they were deforming their pads too much. The softness levels correspond to how soft the middle layer is.
